Saturn returns to Sagittarius.

Most everyone I talk with has some idea of what a 'Saturn Return' is, but what many are not aware of is that Saturn can majorly affect our lives even outside our personal 'returns'. Every 29.5 years, Saturn makes a complete rotation through the 12 houses. For many people as they approach 30 or 60 years of age, they experience Saturn's big life lessons and often some hardships along the way.

On December 23rd, Saturn entered the sign of Sagittarius. It is important to take note when this planet moves into a new sign, because it marks the start of a significant new 'three year cycle' for all of us. Saturn moving into Sagittarius will teach us a whole new set of life lessons and enriching soul development.

The sign of Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, which all about expansion, opportunity and all around good times. This is an odd pairing with Saturn, who is the wise and pragmatic teacher. To me, this Saturn/Jupiter combo means the potential pay off for hard work and discipline is huge! People are often scared of what a Saturn transit means, but I've found the end results are always worth the struggle.
